"My 'Above the Horizon' series of paintings reflects the magnificent beauty of the sky. In no other aspect of nature do I feel the magnitude of spirituality that I do when viewing the sunrise, sunset, or cloud formations that decorate the sky for a brief moment of time, then vanish like an elusive phantom.
The beauty and spirituality that I find in nature have always inspired me. It is my intention to express in my paintings the ever-present life force that weaves its way through all things and breathes life into our world. I use vivid color…I hope that those who view my art will feel uplifted in some way, and perhaps even feel the connection with nature that I had when creating the painting…"
