Award-winning sculptor Tony Lee grew up in New Mexico and Southwestern Colorado. His parents, both silversmiths, inspired Tony's interest in art. Tony's talent was first recognized when he was in fourth grade and won a prize for pastel drawing at the Shiprock Northern Navajo Fair. He studied welding at Utah Technical College, before embarking on his work in three-dimensional fine art at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe.

From 1989 until 1994, Tony Lee worked as Assistant Sculptor to the renowned Allan Houser Haozous.

Tony Lee's work has been exhibited at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture in Santa Fe, the Museum of Contemporary Native Arts in Santa Fe, and the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, DC. HIs sculptures reside in numerous corporate and public collections, including TSW Products in Japan, Humana, Strella, E-Funds, IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts, and the Western Farhat Art Museum Collection in Beirut.
