D O M A N I

Dimitry Domani's original sculptures reflect an intense appreciation for the grace, power, beauty, and fragility of life. They in fact reflect the personal story of the artist, who, as a young man, escaped the Ceausescu regime in Romania, only to be imprisoned in Yugoslavia for a year, followed by two years in a refugee camp. Domani eventually realized his life-long dream of immigrating to the United States in 1981.

Domani's sculpture resides in private and corporate collections nationwide. Two of them were acquired by the Romanina Embassy in Washington D.C., where they are on permanent exhibition.
