"My paintings are sensual and poetic. Their compositions entice the viewer to enter, and take part. They are microcosmic views of nature, which sometimes go into the abstract. Their curvaceous shapes, bold colors, and hard edges are reflections of the yin and yang energies of life.

I use many layers of paint and glaze to create this world. It is a careful, timely procedure that brings a special luminosity and glow to each unique painting. Some paintings dance, some sing, some are quiet. All express an essential feeling."
